Train Tuesday

Hello, today is Tuesday and it's Train Day for me and my family.  As a family, we enjoy Model railroading and Rail Fanning.  We belong to North Georgia Modurail model in Atlanta GA.  A great bunch of men & woman.

Tuesdays is also, our club meeting day as we meet once a month, usually the last Tuesday of the month, to discuss clubs related issues and future show setups.  Again, it something we do as we put together our modules to make one big track setup.  One may have either a 4 foot or 6 foot module.
So come join us, as we are organizing for maximum activity and to have a good time running you trains, HO scale, of course.

Another part is Rail Fanning. The viewing, video and photographing of trains. This has become one of my favorites as it evolves cameras and picture taking.    There's nothing more exciting than to take train pictures on a clear sun shining day. We see the diesel freight and the excursion steam engines.

First we see a Norfolk Southern (NS) freight train leaving Atlanta and heading to Chattanooga Tn

 

Now we see a rare photo of triple Union Pacific (UP) coming into Atlanta from Birmingham, Al. in Austell Ga.
